1) The service
Urge (“we,” “us”) provides a mobile application for daily discipline, habits, streaks, tasks, quotes, and motivation. Core data may be stored on your device. Optional iCloud sync via CloudKit may apply when you enable it, under Apple’s terms. Optional social features (posts, likes, follows, profiles, and related tools) use our configured backend, including Supabase, as described in our Privacy Policy.
2) Your account & data
You are responsible for your account and for activity under it. Sign in with Apple and Apple’s services are subject to Apple’s terms; session data may be stored locally as described in the Privacy Policy. Where the app offers it, you may delete your data or your account—including local data, Supabase-held data, and related processing—subject to Apple’s rules for iCloud/CloudKit and any legal or security retention described in the Privacy Policy.
3) Posts, visibility & content
You may create text posts with visibility settings such as public, private (visible only to you), or friends (or similar). You are responsible for content you post. You may delete your own posts where the app provides that ability. You grant us the rights reasonably necessary to host, display, measure views and engagement in the product, and operate social features according to your chosen visibility.
4) Social interactions & in-product analytics
You may follow and unfollow users, like posts, and use other social tools as offered. Eligible accounts may see creator analytics (for example Pro) derived from product events such as views and likes, as described in the Privacy Policy—not third-party ad tracking.
You agree not to harass, impersonate, or abuse others, and not to use the service to distribute unlawful or harmful content.
5) Reporting & moderation
You may report profiles or posts when the app provides reporting tools. Reports may include the types of information described in the Privacy Policy (such as report details, identifiers, content previews, and technical context) for moderation only. The reported user may not see your identity where the app is designed for anonymous reporting.
6) Subscriptions
Urge may offer optional auto-renewable subscriptions (for example Pro). Purchases and subscription status are handled by Apple via the App Store and StoreKit; the app uses that status to unlock features. Apple’s terms and privacy policy apply to payment data.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID as shown at purchase (or after any trial, if applicable).
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID settings.
7) No guarantees
Urge provides tools and content for motivation and discipline. Results vary. We do not guarantee specific outcomes.
8) Availability and changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We may update the app for fixes, security, or improvements.
9) Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse Urge, including attempting to interfere with the service, circumvent access controls, manipulate leaderboards or social systems, scrape data without permission, or use the app in violation of law or third-party rights.
10) Apple services (iCloud, Game Center)
Optional iCloud / CloudKit sync and device backup are subject to your Apple ID and Apple’s terms. If you use Game Center, streak-related scores may be submitted to Apple leaderboards under Apple’s policies.
11) Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Urge and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent allowed by law.
